}Frequently asked questions
Is the check really free?
Yes. The analysis, the score and the PDF report are free and require no account. A free account simply lets you keep a history of your checks.
Does the result count as customs approval?
No. The check helps you prepare your file. It is not a validation by the customs authorities and does not replace the regulatory obligations that apply to your operation.
Is my declaration sent to customs?
No. The tool does not transmit anything: it checks your file before you, or your customs broker, prepare the declaration.
Does the tool check my HS code?
It checks the code format (6-digit HS, 8-digit CN, 10-digit TARIC) and its consistency with the operation. It never confirms that a classification is correct: a well-formed code is still flagged as “to review”.
What happens to my documents and data?
Uploaded files are stored privately, expire after 24 hours and are deleted within 48 hours at the latest. The content of an anonymous check is erased after 72 hours; only anonymous statistics (type of check, score, types of errors) are kept.
Which types of files can I check?
A simple import/export file, as well as DELTA IE (France), IDMS, AES and AIS (Belgium, Ireland), CDS (United Kingdom), DMS (Netherlands), H7 (e-commerce), EMEBI (intra-EU trade) and ENS (ICS2) declarations.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You get your result without signing up. The free account is only used to save your checks and find them later.
Is your file ready?
Check it for free in a few minutes, before you prepare your declaration.
